Lawn Care in Bay Pines & West St. Petersburg, FL
Mowing and yard care for Bay Pines and the west side of St. Petersburg around Tyrone, just south of Seminole. Owner-operated, insured, free quotes.
Just South of Seminole
Bay Pines sits right on Seminole's southern doorstep. It's best known for the Bay Pines VA campus on Bay Pines Boulevard, the home of Bay Pines National Cemetery. Continue southeast along Tyrone Boulevard and you're into west St. Petersburg, including the neighborhoods around Tyrone Square Mall on 22nd Avenue North. Bay Pines is about a mile and a half from the center of Seminole, and the Tyrone area is close to five miles, so this whole stretch fits inside the Ready 2 Mow service area.
St. Petersburg is a large city, and I don't cover all of it. My area is the west side, roughly the Tyrone area and the neighborhoods between there and Seminole and Bay Pines. If you're farther east or south in St. Pete, text me your cross streets and I'll tell you honestly whether you're in range.
Established Yards with Mature Landscaping
Many neighborhoods on this side of St. Pete are well established, with mature trees, big shrubs and hedges that have had years to fill in. That brings its own kind of yard work:
- Hedges and foundation shrubs that have grown over windows, walkways or the driveway and need shaping back from the ground
- Fence lines where grass, vines and brush creep in and need regular string trimming
- Leaf and branch drop from mature trees that needs picking up before mowing
- Shady lawn areas where St. Augustine should be cut a little higher, as UF/IFAS Extension recommends for grass in shade
Overgrown Yards Brought Back Under Control
If you've just bought a home, are getting a rental ready, or the yard simply got away from you, I can start with a one-time cleanup: cutting down tall grass in stages instead of scalping it, clearing light brush along fences, trimming shrubs, pulling weeds from beds and hauling all the yard debris away. Once it's under control, a recurring schedule keeps it that way. Weekly in summer and every one to two weeks in cooler months works for most lawns here.
What I won't do is take on work that needs a tree service. That means no tree removal, no climbing and no large limbs. If your yard needs that kind of help, I'll say so up front.
Convenient for Seminole-Area Routes
Because Bay Pines and west St. Pete border Seminole, customers here are on the same routes as my home-base yards. That makes it easier to keep a consistent day for recurring service and to come back quickly when summer storms push a visit.
